Introduction to Cherry Wine Hemp
Join Ed out in the hemp field near harvest time to meet a Cherry Wine hemp plant sungrown organically outdoors on our Maine farm. This renowned strain is famous for its high CBD content and a spicy, earthy aroma. The flower we harvest from these hardy plants is rich in terpenes and cannabinoids (THC content is under 0.3%).
The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, a monoterpene found in a number of plants including lemongrass and hops. Cherry Wine is well-known for a relaxing effect, perfect for unwinding stress or helping with insomnia. Other prominent terpenes include caryophyllene and limonene.
We grow our Cherry Wine hemp using strictly organic methods in rich living soil, no chemical fertilizers or sprays. The flowers are hand picked in the fall and carefully dried, cured, and stored in sealed glass jars right here on the farm. They’re used to craft our balm, oil, and tincture or shipped unprocessed directly to your door.
